Shipsy, a SaaS-based smart logistics management platform provider, has raised $25 million in its Series B round co-led by A91 Partners and Z3 Partners along with existing investors Info Edge and Sequoia Capital India's Surge.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to use the funding to continue growing its stronghold in the Middle East, India and Southeast Asian markets while accelerating global expansion into new markets such as Europe and US.
Founded in 2015 by Soham Chokshi, Dhruv Agarwal, Himanshu Gupta and Sahil Arora, Shipsy helps shippers and logistics firms to digitise and automate their operations.
The statup is currently based in India, Dubai and Indonesia and claims to serve over 160 customers globally. It is said to be procuring over 100 million freight every month and optimizing the movement of more than 2 million parcels every day.
Earlier to this round, Shipsy had raised $6 million in its Series A round in 2020. Info Edge had led a pre-Series A round in the startup, a year prior to that.
