Agritech startup Krishify has closed $6.2 million in its pre-Series A round that saw the additional participation of VC fund Omnivore alongside existing investors Ankur Capital, Omidyar Network India, and Orios Venture Partners.
In August last year, Krishify had raised $2.7 million as the first tranche of the pre-Series A round.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to use the new funds for expanding in India, improving its technology, advertising, lead generation, and marketing services.
Founded in 2019 by Rajesh Ranjan, Manish Agrawal and Avinash Kumar, Krishify is a networking platform for farmers and other agricultural professionals.
The startup claims that its app has over 6.5 million downloads and 1.3 million monthly active users.
