ZingHR raises $10 Mn from Tata Capital

HR-tech startup ZingHR has raised $10 million from Tata Capital Growth Fund in a new round. With this investment, Tata Capital’s private equity arm will own a 33% stake in the company.

According to the Mumbai-based company, the proceeds will be used for expansion into more global markets, to upgrade its technology and to ramp up its talent pool.

Founded by Prasad Rajappan, ZingHR is an enterprise HCM platform for the betterment of the workforce irrespective of geographical boundaries covering the entire spectrum from Onboarding to exit and beyond.

The platform currently focuses on giving its users AI-enabled technology and user-friendly systems supported with over 21 languages.

Since its inception in 2014, ZingHR has empowered over 2 million employee records across 600+ companies worldwide with more than 24 HRMS Modules, with enhanced employee experiences. ZingHR claims to execute over 1.25 million transactions every single day on its Microsoft Global Azure platform.
