Electric vehicle maker EVage has raised $28 million in its seed funding round led by US-based venture capital firm RedBlue Capital.
With the latest fundraise, the Mohali-based startup plans to scale up its production and to build a factory outside Delhi, where it will make its maiden product, Model.X, by FY23.
Founded in 2019 by Inderveer Singh and Pulkit Srivastava, EVage is a mobility tech company, its current flagship vehicle is a 2,000-pound truck that was designed for India with feedback from Amazon, its partner in the country.
