Agritech firm Arya.ag has raised $60 million in its Series C round led by Asia Impact SA, Lightrock India and Quona Capital.

Agritech firm Arya.ag has raised $60 million in its Series C round led by Asia Impact SA, Lightrock India and Quona Capital.

The post-money valuation of the company has touched $300 million.

According to the Noida-based startup, the capital will be used in expanding warehouses, strengthening employee base and enhancing technology.

Founded in 2013 by Chattanathan Devarajan, Prasanna Rao and Chandra, Arya.ag enables farmgate storage and provides warehousing and finance solutions to farmers among other things. The company soon plans to start offering logistics and insurance as well.

It currently claims to manage over 3 million metric tons of agri commodities across 21 states in India and is facilitating finance of over $700 million annually.

In December 2020, it had raised $21 million as a part of its Series B funding round.
