Zorro, a pseudonymous social network, has raised $3.2 million in a seed round from more than 16 unicorn founders including Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Ritesh Agarwal, Kunal Shah, Ankiti Bose, Ashneer Grover, Lalit Keshre, Gaurav Gupta and multiple other angel investors.

Venture capital firms 3one4 Capital and 9Unicorn Ventures co-led the seed funding round with participation from Eximius Ventures, Roots Ventures and Venture Catalyst.

According to Entrackr's sources, more unicorn founders are going to join this round.

The proceeds will be used to build a tech team with problem-solving skills that can build and scale the product, said the company in a release.

Co-founded by Jasveer Singh, Abhishek Asthana and Deepak Kumar, Zorro is a pseudonymous social network platform where people can have free-wheeling conversations without the fear of being judged.

The app is yet to be launched for users.

Jasveer has already built successful startups in the past whereas Asthana, popularly known as GabbbarSingh on the internet, holds a decade of experience building brands and businesses. Third co-founder Kumar also has more than seven years of building scalable technologies at Inshorts, Paralleldots and BlackBeltHelp.

While Zorro has no direct competitors, it will indirectly compete with Reddit and to some extent with Fishbowl.
