Unbox Robotics raises $7 Mn in Series A

Robotech startup Unbox Robotics has raised $7 million in a Series-A funding round led by 3one4 Capital followed by Sixth Sense Ventures, Redstart Labs.

The round also saw participation from the company’s founders Pramod Ghadge, Shahid Memon alongside its existing investors SOSV, Arali Ventures, WEH Ventures, BEENEXT, Force Ventures, Dr Vijay Kedia, Aditya Singh Pavitar Singh and few others.

The firm plans to use the funds to expand the team across functions, fulfill the customer demand internationally, R & D and expand to new geographies.

Launched in 2019, Unbox Robotics offers robotics-based fulfillment and distribution technology for small to large e-commerce, retail and logistics enterprises.

According to the Pune-based firm, their product can scan, sort, and dispatch packages in less than 50-70% physical space, while improving personnel productivity by more than 3X and reducing operational cost of package sorting by more than 60%.
