D2C brand Haus & Kinder has raised Rs10 crore or $1.3 million in a Pre-Series funding round led by angel investor Shaival Desai. The firm is looking to raise a further $5 million (about Rs 35 crore) in a Series A funding round early next year.
Haus & Kinder will use the capital to strengthen its brand and accelerate new product launches in the home and new-born baby category.
Launched in 2018 by Saket Dhankar and Kanupriya Anand, Haus & Kinder is a new age brand for home and baby products.
The Mumbai-based startup has grown to 400 SKUs in bedsheet, towels and baby swaddles segments and has served more than 2 million consumers across 300 cities in India as well as in UAE. Its products are available on its own online store along with marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart and Firstcry in India and UAE.
