Stock investment and trading platform Dhan has launched a new product Direct Trade via Charts in collaboration with TradingView. Users will now directly place orders on exchanges from TradingView Charts via Dhan and manage their watchlist, positions, orders and portfolio from the TradingView terminal.
Owned by Raise Financials [Moneylicious Securities] Dhan claims to be for long term investors and super traders in India.
With this integration, users of Dhan can now directly trade via TradingView charts in equity, options and futures for indices, commodities and currency.
A brainchild of former Paytm Money chief Pravin Jadhav, Raise Financials had raised a seed round led by Mirae Asset with participation by Social Leverage, Blume Ventures Founders’ Fund and Multi-Act Equity.
A clutch of blue-chip angel investors such as Kunal Shah, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, Amod Malviya, Sujeet Kumar, Sameer Nigam, Rahul Chari, Amrish Rau, Jitendra Gupta and Girish Mathrubootham also invested in its maiden round in late February.
Raise Financial had also acquired Mumbai-based stock broking app Moneylicious.
At present, Raise Financials covers investments in stock and trading but it plans to integrate lending and insurance among others at some stage.
The company competes with Zerodha, Upstox among the many online broking apps that have entered in a bull market. Apart from DirectTrade, TradingView will also collaborate with Raise on other products.
