Enterprise SaaS company CometChat has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Signal Peak Ventures, including participation from existing investors Matchstick Ventures, Range Ventures, Unbound VC among others. Previously, CometChat had raised $1.6 million in a Pre-Series A round.
The funding will be utilised in employee growth, accelerating go-to-market strategies and scaling platform infrastructure and features.
Launched in 2010 by Anuj and Anant Garg, ComeChat is a communications platform for enterprises which provides them with plug and play text, chat, video and voice communications solutions to be integrated in their websites and apps.
The software provides user to user engagement for a growing customer base via robust offering of chat APIs, SDKs, and Open Sourced UI Kits & Widgets.
The firm has headquarters in India and the US, and is used by over 50K developers. It is currently working with global names like HeySummit, Swedbank and Endeavour, providing 1 million concurrent connections to its users.
