D2C brand Clensta has raised Rs 20 cr in a Series A funding led by Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures. Hem Angels, N+1 Capital (RBF) and other investors also participated in the round.

Clensta raises Rs 20 Cr in a Series A round

D2C brand Clensta has raised Rs 20 cr in a Series A funding led by Venture Catalysts and Inflection Point Ventures. Hem Angels, N+1 Capital (RBF) and other investors also participated in the round.

The funds raised will be used to scale up the company's sales, boost marketing and expand the brand’s online and offline presence across India.

Started in 2016 by Puneet Gupta, Clensta is a D2C personal and home care startup which started with the flagship products based on Waterless Technology (Waterless Body bath & Shampoo) to enable bathing without the use of water. 

The company operates both in the B2B and B2B2C segment and is currently targeting the $6.2B Indian Home Care market.

Clensta has over 30 products in its portfolio and has grown 4X since last fiscal. The firm has achieved a CAGR of over 130% and aims to earn Rs 1,000 crore revenues in the next 5 years.
