OTT player The Viral Fever (TVF) has raised $2 million from Mumbai based venture debt firm Blacksoil. The firm had also provided debt to TVF back in the year 2019.
The company will be using the raised funds for its working capital requirements on the production of new web series and content for its own brand and for its clients that include both brands and OTT platforms.
Founded in 2010, the Tiger Global-backed company produces branded content for its own channels and other OTT giants like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony, etc.
The Mumbai based media firm has produced hits like TVF Pitchers, Permanent Roommates, Yeh Meri Family, Aspirants and Kota Factory.
The platform has 6 out of 10 shows listed in the top 10 Indian web series and TV shows as per IMBb Top 250 TV list. TVF has over 10 million subscribers on its YouTube channel.
