Hyperlocal Content Platform Knocksense has raised a bridge round worth $150K led by Applyhigh and others including We Founder Circle, Mumbai Angels and LetsVenture. The startup has raised $0.5 million in total to date.
Founded in 2016 by Vibhore and Varul Mayank, Knocksense is a platform that produces hyperlocal content. Recently, the company launched its flagship product KnockOFF, which helps to establish a connection between local brands and consumers.
The firm will utilize the funds in tech development of the platform KnockOFF and geographic expansion across the new cities along with producing content, recommendations, videos, features, and more.
The Lucknow-based company is currently present in 6 different cities including Lucknow, Kanpur, Jaipur, Indore, Goa and Mumbai and has over 20 million monthly impressions on the platform. Since the inception of KnockOFF in August, the platform claims to record a GMV and subscription growth of 100% month-on-month.
