Baby-tech startup Cradlewise has raised $7 million in seed round led by Footwork along with CRV and existing investors SOSV and Better Capital. Notable angels Katrina Lake (founder of Stitch Fix), Jeremy Cai (CEO of Italic) and Dilip Goswani (CTO of Molekule) also participated in the round.
The newly raised funds to accelerate the company’s innovation and technology roadmap and grow the Indian team size across engineering, software, product, and customer success centric roles.
Cradlewise makes AI based smart cribs for babies with an integrated contactless baby monitor that spots the first signs of wakeup of the baby and starts rocking along with soothing music to safeguard the baby's sleep.
The Silicon Valley and Bengaluru-based startup ships the product directly via cradlewise.com, with plans to expand availability through other e-com websites in 2022. The company has already sold 100 units of the smart crib and is continuing to take pre orders at a price of 1.49K exclusively through their website.
