Bengaluru-based nutrition and health foods marketplace Cora Health has raised Rs 4.6 crore in seed funding led by angel investors Vishnuraj Kunjur, KRS Jamwal, and Ajay Upadhyaya from Indian Angels Network (IAN).
Tholons Capital, Family Office of Apurva Parekh (Executive Director, Pidilite Industries Limited) and Kushagra Pant (MD, Nomura) also participated in the round. The company had also raised Rs 1.95 crore in a pre-Seeds round earlier this year.
The current funds will be utilised to improve its current technology and expand its customer base. The company is also planning to launch an AI-powered chatbot to recommend personalized products.
The D2C marketplace which offers healthy and nutritious food products from over 100 brands across multiple categories, was launched back in 2020 by Snigdha Kumar and Shriji Venkatesh. The brand was also a part of 100X.VC's Class 03 portfolio.
The startup is now planning to reach 10 million users in the next 3 years along with revenue growth of 3-4x by next year.
