Onato, an agri supply chain startup, has raised $2.2 million in its seed round led by Vertex Ventures and Omnivore.
The funding proceeds will be used for talent acquisition and to ramp up its operations, said Onato in a press release.
Floated by Ashish Jindal and Vedant Katiyar, Onato connects various stakeholders directly and uses data from the demand and supply side to bring transparency in volume and pricing, ensure timely payments, and help customers access new business opportunities.
The Bengaluru-based startup is building a technology platform for the fruits and vegetables (F&V) industry.
