Vanity Wagon, a clean beauty marketplace, has raised Rs 5.5 crore or $735K in a pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). Venture Catalysts, Lotus Herbals along with its existing backer Agility Ventures have also joined the round.
According to Vanity Wagon, the funds will be used to strengthen its tech platform, marketing, brand building, team expansion and private label acquisitions.
Founded in 2018 by Prateek Ruhail, NainaRuhail and Sahil Shrestha, Vanity Wagon is a clean beauty assortment which claims to deliver clean beauty products for Indian and global beauty brands.
The company claims that it has completed over 50,000 orders since its inception 2.5 years back and is now serving 1.3 lakh visitors on the website monthly. Vanity’s portfolio includes Juicy Chemistry, Wow Skin Science, mCaffeine, MamaEarth, Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic and Minimalist.
