AnKa SumMor, a sales and distribution (S&D) enablement platform, has raised Rs 11.6 crore or $1.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by IPV.

AnKa SumMor, a sales and distribution (S&D) enablement platform, has raised Rs 11.6 crore or $1.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

Pratul Shroff from Waao Partners, Brijesh Agrawal of IndiaMart, and others have also participated in the round.

Earlier in April 2021 AnKa SumMor had raised Rs 3 crore as a part of its pre-Series A round and now with this new additional investment of Rs 8.6 crore the round is closed at Rs 11.6 crore.

According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the funds will be primarily deployed into geographical expansion, building its tech stack and to enhance its capabilities.The startup will also invest in increasing infrastructure and resources to increase the number of outlets serviced to deliver growth for brand partners.

Co-founded by Rajiv Joshi and Ashok George, AnKa SumMor is a plug-and-play service that allows businesses to focus on building their brands, while providing supply & distribution expertise.

The startup claims to have covered over 2,600 relevant stores, working with 10 brands so far such as McVities, Yoga Bar, Wai Wai, Paper Boat, Yellow Diamond, Bombay Shaving Company, Spice Story and Budweiser.
