Playto Labs, an edtech startup, has raised Rs 4 crore or $531K in its seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

Raj Snehil Juneja, Krishna Kumar, Kunal Walia and Shashwat Kumar, along with entrepreneurs such as Tonmoy Shingal and Ketan Kapoor, Sachin Sharma, Rajesh Razdan and Kuldeep Dhankar have also joined the round.

According to Playto Labs, the funds raised will be used in building a team and expanding its customer base.

Founded by Pavan Ponnaganti, Playto Labs has a combination of hardware toys and online one-on-one sessions with teachers who act as facilitators. It recently launched educational toy products for kids aged 8-16.

Within a year of launch, Playto Labs products for kids claims to already have paying customers from 33 countries, and have seen strong month-on-month growth.

The team earlier built Skyfi Labs, where they developed over 100 project-based courses in engineering subjects for UG-level students, which saw enrollments from over 400,000 students across 65 countries.
