Ishitva, a waste sorting robotic startup, has raised $1 million in its pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).
According to the Ahmedabad-based startup, the funds will be used to ramp up its sales and expanding research and development team.
Founded in 2018 by Jitesh Dadlani and Sandip Singh, Ishitva uses deep-tech to effectively segregate waste to recover recyclables.
The startup currently offers a range of solutions such as SUKA (AI-powered air sorting), YUTA (AI-powered robotic sorting), Netra AI Vision system, which helps identify waste, and smart bins.
Last month, Inflection Point Ventures had backed four of the early-stage startups which include Shadez, a home interiors startup, Mentza, an audio-based conversational learning startup, NeuroPixel.AI, a deep-tech SaaS startup, and Mindler, a career guidance startup.
