Cloud-based platform SaaS Labs raises $17 Mn in Series A round

SaaS Labs, an automation startup, has raised $17 million in its Series A round led by Base 10 Partners and Eight Roads Ventures.

According to the Noida-based startup, the fresh capital will be used to expand its customer base, hire talent, for product development and to improve service delivery.

Founded in 2016 by Gaurav Sharma, SaaS Labs develops products for sales, support, marketing teams as well as contact centres to enhance productivity. It has two main products—Justcall, which allows users to set up a cloud-based contact centre for sales and support and Helpwise, which allows users to consolidate all communication streams in a single shared inbox.

The startup claims that it currently serves over 6,000 companies globally such as Walmart, Jaguar, EY, and Divvy Homes, among others. With a 70-member team in India and the Philippines, SaaS Labs plans to double headcount by the year end.
