Self-drive car rental company Zoomcar has announced the launch of its operations in Indonesia and Vietnam. The expansion follows its recent foray into international markets with its footprints in Philippines and Egypt to help ramp up their business.
The Bengaluru-headquartered company has appointed Leo Wibisono Arifin as the Vice President and Country Head of Indonesia operations, said Zoomcar in a press release.
Kiet Pham joins Zoomcar as Vice President and Country Head for the company''s expansion into Vietnam, the statement said.
Floated by Greg Moran and David Back, Zoomcar allows users to rent cars on hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. It employs over 300 people and operates in over 50 cities across India. Currently, the company claims to have over 7,000 cars on its platform with a presence across five countries.
Earlier in 2020, Zoomcar launched Zoomcar Mobility Services, the company's enterprise SaaS based mobility solutions which offers covering white-labelled subscription services and IoT based driver behavior monitoring solutions.
