NODWIN acquires IPs from OML Entertainment for Rs 73 Cr

Nazara Technologies-owned a-sports company NODWIN Gaming has acquired the gaming and adjacent IP business of OML Entertainment for a cash consideration of Rs 73 crore or $10 million.

The transaction will provide partial liquidity to OML Entertainment shareholders and CA Media. Ajay Nair, MD of OML Entertainment, will join the NODWIN Gaming board as part of this transaction, said the company in a press release.

OML works with comedians like Tanmay Bhat, Suhani Shah and Smay Raina. It also works with some of the notable brands in India to produce well-known properties such as Levi's Music Week and the hugely successful YouTube FanFest.

NODWIN Gaming, a part of the listed company Nazara Technologies, is a gaming and sports media platform with a presence in India and global markets such as Africa and North America. It offers interactive gaming, e-sports and gamified early learning ecosystems. 

Earlier in March, NODWIN Gaming had raised Rs 164 crore from Krafton, the developer of PUBG Mobile.
