GoKwik, an e-commerce enablement startup, has raised Rs 40 crore or $5.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by Matrix Partners India. RTP Global and a clutch of angel investors such as Jitendra Gupta, Nitin Gupta, Amit Lakhotia and others have also participated in the round.
According to the New Delhi-based startup, the funds will be used to expand its presence in the MENA and SEA region and hiring talent across technology, data and product engineering teams.
Founded by Chirag Taneja, Vivek Bajpai, and Ankush Talwar, GoKwik provides a full-stack solution for merchants. Its product features include seamless checkouts, different payment modes, RTO protection during the cash of delivery, one-click checkout and a single dashboard for business management. It provides integrations with Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, and OpenCart.
The startup claims to have partnered with over 75 brands. Its client list includes many D2C brands such as boAt, Mamaearth, The Man Company, Heads Up For Tails, The Moms Co., The Whole Truth and The Souled Store.
