Auntie Fung’s, a quick-service-restaurant (QSR) startup, has raised Rs3.35 crore or $454K in an angel round led by Indian Angel Network (IAN). The round was led by angel investors Anjali Malhotra, Ajay Rajgarhia, and Nitin Jain. Lead Angels, LetsVentures and Chandigarh Angels have also participated.

According to the Bengaluru-based company, the majority of the fresh capital raised will be used to open its new cloud kitchens. The remaining will be used to build back-end capability around supply chain and technology, hire new talent, and build brand awareness.

Started by Subhradeep Bhowmik and Satrajit Das, Auntie Fung’s is an omni channel Asian street food brand focused on food delivery-only, Auntie Fung’s has its presence in Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR.  

The company plans to explore different pockets of opportunity and build an innovation pipeline for its consumers with Bao, Sushi, and other upcoming food choices.
