B2B networking platform Anar has raised $6.2 million in its seed round co-led by Elevation Capital and Accel India. First Cheque and Utsav Somani along with founders of startups such as ShareChat, Meesho and BharatPe have also participated.

According to the Mumbai-based startup, the proceeds will be used to strengthen its product and technology capabilities.

Founded by Nishank Jain and Sanjay Bhat, Anar helps small and medium business (SMB) communities build their network across omnichannel. It provides access to new products, current market trends and knowledge to innovate their venture into the broader market.

On the Anar business app, all retailers, resellers, wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers can create their own profiles, upload their catalogs, create posts, form connections, post requirements, and interact with each other.

Currently, the startup focuses on onboarding businesses across multiple verticals, especially jewelry, clothing, grocery stores, footwear and leather products.
