Y Combinator leads $125K round in AI startup Synth

AI-based knowledge platform Synth AI labs Inc., has raised $125k in its new round led by Silicon Valley-based Y-Combinator. Synth has raised this round as a part of Y-Combinator’s Summer 21 batch.

According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the funds will be used to expand its team and in product development.

Founded by Suneel Matham, Urvin Soneta and Vaibhav Saxena, Synth is an app that captures information such as text, audio and video, and makes it easy to search and retrieve the information.

The startup claims that it captures and retrieves audio information from any source such as Zoom, Google Meet, YouTube among others in just one click.

Synth competes with California-based Otter.ai which also provides live transcripts from a conversation, meeting recording platform Fireflies.ai and other note-taking apps.
