Noida-based fintech startup YPay has raised $400K in its bridge round led by early-stage investment firm We Founder Circle. Marquee investors including Amit Tyagi, Gaurav Juneja, Ravi Gupta and Pragatii Bhargava have also participated in it.
The fresh infusion of funds will be deployed in its technology development, acquiring new talent and to ramp up its growth, said YPay in a press release.
Founded by Navneet Gupta, YPay offers an app-based platform for managing money, fund transfer, online payments, fee payments, and other financial services.
The startup claims its prepaid cards are available on its app, which makes it convenient for teenagers to make omnichannel payments. It enables kids to learn money management and earn points along with cashback and discounts from over 300 brands.
Earlier this July, the lead in this round, WFC had invested $100K in a mix of equity and debt seed round in home décor startup Nestroots.
