Dental tech startup Toothsi has raised $20 million in its Series B round led by Eight Roads Ventures, Think Investments and the Mankekar Family Office. Vishal Agrawal, Siddharth Shah and Dharmil Sheth, Ramakant Sharma and other startup founders have also participated.
The Mumbai-based startup will use the fresh capital to bolster its technology and for geographical expansion.
Founded by Arpi Shah, Pravin Shetty, Manjul Jain and Anirudh Kale, Toothsi sells clear teeth aligners to customers at home. It has also launched a skincare brand called Skinnsi which provides laser removal and derma-facials.
Apart from its partnership with over 1,000 dental clinics across the country, Toothsi has rolled out teeth whitening kits for its consumers. The platform claims to have grown five-fold during the pandemic and plans to serve over 1 lakh customers this year.
