Location analytics startup Locale.ai has raised Rs 9.6 crore or $1.3 million in its seed round led by Chiratae Ventures and Better Capital. Manik Gupta, Sidu Ponnapa, Kuldeep Dhankar, Khadim Batti and other angels also participated in the round.
According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the funds will be used to serve companies in the e-commerce and logistics markets.
Founded by Aditi Sinha and Rishabh Jain, Locale converts location data into actionable hyperlocal insights. It helps companies operating in the mobility, on-demand delivery, logistics and supply chain sectors.
Locale currently works with companies in 9 countries such as Europe, Latin America, MENA, India, Singapore among others.
The startup claims that it has established partnerships with data vendors to help companies overlay granular external data, such as mobility patterns in a city, as well as traffic and weather to get more insights.
Earlier in April 2020, Locale had raised its pre-seed round led by Better Capital with participation from co-founders of Myntra and Nudgespot for an undisclosed amount.
