New-age affiliate and social commerce platform OneCode has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Sequoia India Capital’s Surge and Nexus Venture Partners. Aakrit Vaish, Amrish Rau, Anand Chandrasekaran, Arjun Vaidya, Ashish Dave and other angels also participated.
Entrackr had exclusively reported about OneCode’s anticipated funding round on June 25.
According to the Bengaluru-based startup, the funds will be used in its mission to digitize 50 million sales agents across India.
Floated by Manish Shara and Yash Desai, OneCode is an affiliate platform with a layer of social commerce. It connects e-commerce companies with resellers to sell their products and services to trust deficit and less tech-savvy users.
OneCode has tied up with various brands including Kotak Bank, IndusInd Bank, Upstox, Testbook, Gradeup, Digit, Digital Showroom, PetPooja, 1mg, DineOut and Dr Vaidya’s among others.
Being a part of Surge’s fifth cohort of 23 startups, OneCode claims to serve over 20 brands in India including four large banks, and 300,000 registered sales agents to date.
