Digital health platform for women, Veera Health has raised $3 million in a round led by Sequoia Capital India and Global Founders Capital.
Y Combinator, CloudNine Hospital's co-founder Rohit MA, and Tinder India head Taru Kapoor have also participated in the round.
Founded by sister duo Shobhita and Shaswata Narain, Veera is an online clinic aimed at helping women in India navigate PCOS(Polycystic ovary syndrome) through risk-screening, mental health support and answers about effects such as acne and weight gain.
Since its inception, the startup claims to have over 10,000 women benefiting from its education and services. The company’s subscription-based programme is designed to handle the most irritating points with PCOS.
Veera was also a part of Surge’s 23 startups for its fifth cohort.
