Jitendra Gupta-led neo banking startup Jupiter has acquired EasyPlan, a financial saving app for individuals. This is the second acquisition by Jupiter after it took over Mitter.io in 2019.
According to Gupta, the acquisition will allow Jupiter to expand its user base and enhance its saving and investment capabilities. However, he did not disclose the size of the deal.
Mumbai-based EasyPlan was founded by Manisha Pandita and Sanjay Gandhi in 2017. A part of Y-Combinator’s 2020 batch, the startup helps young professionals to invest safely in mutual funds. It claims to have over 2 lakh users on its app.
Backed by the likes of Sequoia Capital India, 3one4 Capital, Tanglin Venture Partners and individuals like Amrish Rau, Kunal Shah and Kunal Bahl, Jupiter was recently launched for select customers.
