Insurtech platform Bimaplan has raised $2.5 million in its pre-Series A round led by global VC funds Amino Capital, Goodwater Capital. Existing investors and angels also participated. The startup will utilise the funds raised to build the team, product, and ramp up distribution.
Founded by Vikul Goyal, the Y Combinator-backed startup is a full-stack insurance platform that works with insurers to co-create customised products for the lower-to-middle income segment. Three months ago, it raised $500K in a seed round from Titan Capital and others.
