Funding in Indian startups this week (10 May-15 May)

This week 19 Indian startups raised funding, of which 13 received a total sum of about $48 million. Among them, DealShare raised the highest funding of about $28 million, followed by BharatPe, which raised $6.7 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 6 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

DealShare: Social commerce platform DealShare has kicked off a new round in which it has raised $28 million from existing investors including Falcon Edge’s Alpha Wave Incubation, WestBridge Capital and Matrix Partners. The company is likely to raise more funds in this round.

BharatPe: UPI-focused digital payments and lending company BharatPe has raised $6.7 million in debt from Northern Arc Capital.

SuperOps.ai: Professional services automation and remote monitoring and management platform SuperOps.ai has raised $3 million in a seed round led by Elevation Capital and Matrix Partners India.

Myelin Foundry: Deeptech AI startup Myelin Foundry has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Beyond Next Ventures, a Japanese venture capital fund.

Cron AI: Deep-tech company building a 3D Data Edge perception platform Cron AI has raised $4 million in a round led by VenturEast and Kitaki Ventures.

Locobuzz: Digital customer experience platform Locobuzz has raised $1.2 million in pre-Series A funding from Maharashtra State Social Venture Fund of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd.

RuleZero: RuleZero, a technology platform that automates and manages equity ownership in venture-funded startups, has raised $1.3 million in funding from Zerodha’s Rainmatter Capital, IndusLaw, Reddy Futures and Kris Gopalakrishnan.

Pickright Technologies: AI-enabled wealthtech app Pickright Technologies has raised $0.2 million in a round led by JITO Angel Network. Mumbai Angels and a consortium of other angels also participated in this funding round.

MedTel Healthcare: Bengaluru-based MedTel Healthcare has raised $0.5 million in its Pre-Series A funding in a round led by undisclosed investors from the US, India, and Australia.

Enthu.ai: Ahmedabad-based Appitsimple and its founder Ankit Dudhwewala have invested $0.2 million in Enthu.ai.

Haqdarshak: Pune-based social enterprise startup Haqdarshak Empowerment Solutions Private Limited (HESPL) has closed its pre-Series A round at $0.9 million.

Geekster: Startup investment platform We Founder Circle has led a pre-seed round worth $0.2 million in Gurugram-based Geekster.

Rubix Data Sciences: Technology and analytics-based B2B risk management and monitoring platform, Rubix Data Sciences has raised $0.8 million in its seed round of funding.

Undisclosed deals this week

Ingenium, Celcius, Upswing, ElecTorq, Artivatic.ai and HalaPlay did not disclose their financial details.
