Funding in Indian startups this week (05 Oct-10 Oct)

This week 20 Indian startups raised funding, of which 13 received a total sum of about $96 million. Among them, Chargebee raised the highest funding of about $55 million followed by Uni, which raised $18.5 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 7 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

Uni: Fintech startup Uni has scooped up $18.5 million in its maiden funding round led by Lightspeed Ventures India and Accel Partners India. 

Emotix: Learning robots maker Emotix has raised $1.9 million in its extended Series A round led by its existing backers Chiratae Ventures.

Treebo: Budget hotel brand Treebo has raised $6 million in a new round fromexisting backers Matrix Partners India, SAIF Partners, Ward Ferry and Bertelsmann India Investments. 

Ergos: Patna-based agritech startup Ergos has topped its Series A round with an infusion of $3.2 million from Chiratae Ventures and ABF respectively, taking the total funding in Series A round to $8.2 million.

Chargebee: SaaS-based subscription billing and revenue operations platform for businesses, Chargebee has raised $55M in its Series F funding round led by Insight Partners with participation from existing investors Steadview Capital and Tiger Global.

Lido Learning: Mumbai-based startup Lido Learning, which conducts online coaching in Maths, Science, English and coding genres to children of grade 4 to 9, has raised $3.9 million from about a dozen investors including angels and family offices in its ongoing Seed-1 funding round.

Genrobotics: Robotics firm Genrobotics has raised $0.34 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by existing investor Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from SEA Fund and Anand Mahindra.

WinUall: Edtech platform WinUall has raised around $2 million from Prime Venture Partners, Beenext and angel investors such as LivSpace founder Ramakant Sharma.

Krishitantra: Agritech firm Krishitantra has raised $1 million in its seed round of funding from Omnivore and Nabventures.

Unnati: agri-input and produce platform Unnati has raised $1.7 million in pre-Series A round from Nabventures Fund.

SpotKwik: Bengaluru-based cohort startup SpotKwik has raised $0.03 million in a pre-seed round from MARL 5G Accelerator.

Acculi Labs: Bengaluru-based health-technology firm Acculi Labs has raised $0.7 million in a seed round from PirE Ventures.

NirogStreet: Ayurveda startup NirogStreet has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A round led by early-stage venture capital firm Wavemaker Partners and Amand Ventures.

Undisclosed deals this week

Pesto Tech, PakkaProfile, Unocoin, Omnify, MikeLegal, Gourmet Garden and Bambrew did not disclose their financial details.
