This week 17 Indian startups raised funding, of which 12 received a total sum of about $93 million. Among them, Zolostays raised the highest funding of about $56 million followed by Aye Finance, which raised $16.6 million.
Meanwhile, funding for 5 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.
Below is the summary of deals closed this week
Zolostays: Co-living and home rental startup Zolostays has secured $56 million in a Series C funding round led by InvestCorp. Existing backers of the company including Mirae Assets, Investcorp and Trifecta Capital also participated in it.
Aye Finance: Fintech startup, Aye Finance, has raised $16.6 million in debt from Germany-based Invest in Vision.
Cuemath: Mathematics focused edtech firm Cuemath has secured $2.9 million as a part of its ongoing Series B round from its existing backer Trifecta Capital. The infusion is a mix of debt and equity.
Shop101: Social commerce firm Shop101 has raised $2.2 million from existing investors Kalaari Capital, Vy Capital, Unilever, and Stellaris. The fresh infusion is a part of the ongoing Series C round.
Securden: Cybersecurity security startup Securden has raised $1.2 million in its seed funding round led by Accel Partners along with the participation from Girish Mathrubootham, Manav Garg, Mithun Sacheti, and Axilor Ventures.
Zomentum: Saas-based startup Zomentum has raised $4.1 million in its seed funding round from Accel Partners and SAIF Partners.
Cars24 Financial Services: Subsidiary of used cars buying platform Cars24, Cars24 Financial Services, has raised its maiden round of debt funding of $1.3 million from Vivriti Capital.
PiggyRide: Bengaluru-based PiggyRide has secured $1.86 million in a pre-Series A funding round from Artha Venture Fund and existing backer, JAFCO Asia.
Chai Waale: Tea-focussed quick-service restaurant brand, Chai Waale, has raised $0.23 million in funding from six angel investors.
Blue Sky Analytics: Climate-tech startup, Blue Sky Analytics, has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by venture capital firm Beenext. Rainmatter also participated in the round.
Frontier Markets: Jaipur-based rural distribution startup, Frontier Markets, has raised $2.25 million as a part of its pre-series A financing round led by ENGIE Rassembleurs d’Energies.
Specsmakers: Optical chain, Specsmaker, has raised $3 million from Eight Roads Ventures.
Undisclosed deals this week
NOTO, Green Cure, Edhusk, Decentro and TagHive did not disclose their financial details.
