Funding in Indian startups this week (20 Jan-25 Jan)

This week 18 Indian startups raised funding, of which 13 received a total sum of about $350 million. Among them, Bounce raised the highest funding of about $105 million followed by Digit Insurance, which raised $84 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 5 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week

LogiNext: Tiger Global and Steadview Capital have led $39 million Series B round in transportation automation platform LogiNext, valuing the six-year-old startup at about $100 million.

Livspace: Online home decor startup Livspace has secured $60 million in funding from Hong Kong-based Tahoe Investment Group, Singapore-domiciled Mercer Investments and EDB Investment. Kharis Capital and Venturi Partners’ managing director Nicholas Cator also participated in the round.

Park+: Delhi-based smart parking app Park+ has secured $11 million in a funding round led by Sequoia India and Matrix Partners India. Marquee angel investors Deep Kalra, Rajesh Magow, Ashish Hemrajani, Kunal Shah, Kunal Bahl, and Rohit Bansal also participated in the round.

Digit Insurance: Digital general insurance startup Digit Insurance has raised $84 million in its first external funding round from three growth equity investors – A91 Partners, Faering Capital, and TVS Capital.

Zoomcar: Bengaluru-based car rental platform Zoomcar secured the first tranche of $30 million as part of its ongoing $100 million Series-D funding round.

Eupheus: Delhi-based edtech startup Eupheus has secured $4.3 million in a Series A round led by Yuj Ventures. Existing investor Sixth Sense Ventures also participated.

Samya.ai: Bengaluru-based saas platform Samya.ai has secured $6 million in a seed round led by Sequoia Capital along with Ashish Gupta, Deb Henretta, Kradle Ventures, Arijit Sengupta, and Sandeep Sugla also participated in the round.

Kristal.AI: Online asset management platform Kristal.AI has secured $6 million in a Series A round led by Chiratae Ventures and Desai Family Office along with other HNIs also participated.

Samosa Singh: Bengaluru-based snacking startup Samosa Singh has raised $2.7 million in a Series A round led by SHE Capital along with Fireside Ventures, Equanimity Investments, Japan-based AET Fund, and the AL Trust also participated.

Bounce: Two-wheeler rental startup Bounce has raised $105 million led by Accel Growth and B Capital Group. Existing investors Chiratae Ventures, Falcon Edge and Sequoia Capital India, among others, also participated.

Invento Robotics: Robotics startup Invento Robotics has raised $0.28 million in a seed round led by ITI Growth Opportunities Venture Fund of Investment Trust of India.

ExtraaEdge: edtech startup ExtraaEdge has raised $0.7 million in its pre-Series A round led by Sprout Venture Partners and the Indian Angel Network.

ProEves: Preschool and day-care centre aggregator and booking platform, ProEves has raised $0.5 million in a seed funding round led by 1Crowd.

Undisclosed deals this week

Pine Labs, Nupay, GetVantage, Instoried, and Keito did not disclose their financial details on funding.
