Healthcare service provider Pristyn Care has picked up Series B round worth $12 million led by Sequoia Capital India, Hummingbird Ventures, Greenoaks Capital and AngelList.
Steered by Harsimarbir Singh, Vaibhav Kapoor and Garima Sawhney, Pristyn has over 70 clinics and 250 partners in the cities it operates in. The company has onboarded surgeons expertise in general surgery, ENT, urology, gynaecology, vascular and cosmetic surgeries.
Currently present in 20 cities of India including Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Bhopal, Pristyn plans to use the fresh capital to expand into smaller cities. The company will also perform surgeries in the field of dermatology and orthopaedics.
Till date, the company claims to have successfully performed over 10,000 surgeries, reports Mint. In June, Sequoia India had led $4 million Series A round in the Gurugram-based startup.
With an asset-light model, leveraging the medical infrastructure of existing partner hospitals, Pristyn Care Clinic is an advanced care clinic built on an ecosystem of daycare procedures where the patient meets doctor for specialized treatments.
Pristyn further aims to provides expertise in insurance, equipment, surgery and patient care practices - to become a full-stack provider of healthcare services. It also provides a concierge service to patients guiding them through the journey from diagnostic to recovery.
According to Singh, facilities provided by Pristyn is on par with corporate hospitals but 40% cheaper, along with a tech platform which connects our doctors, customers and hospitals.
For the next 12 months, the company will go for phased development with a plan to launch operations in over 50 cities.
