This week 14 Indian startups raised funding, of which 9 received a total sum of about $62 million. Among them,  Melorra raised the highest funding of $12

This week 14 Indian startups raised funding, of which 9 received a total sum of about $62 million. Among them, Melorra raised the highest funding of $12 million followed by Vahdaam Teas, which raised $10.5 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 5 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

Zoomcar: Zoomcar has raised yet another round mix of debt and equity to the tune of $7.8 million from US-based parent entity, Zoomcar Inc and WeWork’s India CEO Karan Virwani.

DealShare: Matrix Partners has co-invested in a $11 million Series A round with Falcon Edge in social commerce startup DealShare.

Sub-k: BASIX Sub-k, a startup that works with a vision to provide a technology-enabled transactional platform to the unbanked population, has r5r5rdxxdxdddraked in $10.5 million in a Series C funding round from Denmark’s Maj Invest.

publive-imageMelorra: Online jewellery marketplace Melorra has raked in $12 million fresh round from Lightbox and BlackSoil Capital. Ravi Sheth, the Burmans of Dabur, Rainmaker Ventures, and the Jeejeebhoy family office also participated in the Series C financing round.

CleanseCar: App-based car cleaning service startup CleanseCar has raised $2 million in a pre-series A funding round from a bunch of marquee investors including Haldiram’s family office, Apoorva Ranjan Sharma, Rahul Bothra, and Mitesh Shah among others.

Hevo Data: Unified data platform for mid-size enterprises, Hevo Data, has secured $4 million in a funding round led by Sequoia Capital and Chiratae Ventures.

Vahdam Teas: Online tea brand Vahdam Teas has raised $10.5 million in a Series C funding round led by Sixth Sense Ventures with the participation of S Gopalakrishnan, SAR Group family office, and Pankaj Chaddah. Existing investor Fireside Ventures also contributed.

Juno: Neo banking startup Juno has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Sequoia Capital and Polychain Capital. Dragonfly Capital, Consensys Labs, Astarc Ventures, Jitendra Gupta, and Nitin Sharma, among others, also participated.

Smytten: Online discovery platform for premium products Smytten, has raised $1.5 million in funding from Roots Ventures.

Undisclosed deals this week

Rural e-commerce startup Boonbox,  location intelligence startup GeoIQ, jobs marketplace Vahan.Ai, and Clothing brand Kosha, Neuroscience startup NeuroLeap did not disclose their financial details on funding.
