Funding in Indian startups this week (09 Sep-14 Sep)

This week 16 Indian startups raised funding, of which 9 received a total sum of about $243 million. Among them, Delhivery raised the highest funding of $115 million followed by OkCredit, which raised $67 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 8 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

OkCredit: Tiger Global and Lightspeed venture have invested around $67 million in OkCredit.

Glance: Mobile advertising and discovery platform InMobi has raised $45 million for its flagship product Glance as a part of the larger round from US-based venture capital firm Mithril Capital.

Delhivery: Canadian pension fund CPPIB has invested $115 million in logistics firm Delhivery.

Nocca Robotics:  Indian Angel Network (IAN) Fund has led $1.7 million funding round in robotics startup Nocca Robotics.

WhiteHat Jr: Mumbai-based edtech startup WhiteHat Jr has raised $10 million in the Series A funding round led by existing investors Nexus Ventures Partners and Omidyar Network.

Fitso: Full-stack sports facilities provider, Fitso has raised $ 1.5 million in pre-series A funding from a clutch of investors including SRI Capital, Sprout Capital, IPV Capital, Pankaj Chaddah (Co-founder, Zomato), Ashish Gupta (Co-founder, Helion Venture Partners).

B:Live: Electric vehicle tourism startup B: Live has raised $0.5 million in a funding round from DNA Entertainment Network.

Truebil: Used car marketplace Truebil has raised $1 million in a funding round from Japan’s Spiral Ventures.

ShoeKonnect: Online B2B footwear marketplace ShoeKonnect has raised $1.5 million in a round led by WaterBridge Ventures along with existing investor Info Edge.

Undisclosed deals this week

Qdesq, Marsplay, Kawa Space, Hungry Foal, Acculi Labs, HappyShappy, EasyEcom and SoStronk did not disclose their financial details on funding.
