Funding in Indian startups this week (02 Sep-07 Sep)

This week 16 Indian startups raised funding, of which 14 received a total sum of about $146 million. Among them, Cars24 raised the highest funding of $52 million followed by Advisorymandi, which raised $36 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 2 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

Casr24: Cars24 has raised $52 million in what appears to be ongoing Series D round. Dubai-based cargo company KCK FZE has invested around $25 million while existing investor Kingsway FCI invested $10 million in the Series D round.

CashFlo: Working capital solutions provider CashFlo has raised a Series A funding round worth $4 million which was led by SAIF Partners.

NEWJ: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through its wholly-owned subsidiary Reliance Industrial Investments and Holdings Limited (RIIHL), has invested $0.7 million in New Emerging World of Journalism (NEWJ), an early-stage startup that curates and produces video content for smartphone users.

GOQii: Smart wearable brand GOQii has raised over $6.3 million from Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd (BCCL).

XYXX Apparels: Men’s Innerwear maker XYXX Apparels has raised $0.85 million in its seed round of funding from its existing backer Sauce.vc.

OTO: Automotive leasing startup OTO has raised $1.4 million from Prime Venture Partners to strengthen its technology platform and expand across 10 cities in India by June 2020.

Advisorymandi.com: Technology-driven platform in the investing space, Advisorymandi.com has raised $36 million from the EST Group.

FPL: First Principles Labs Technologies has raised $4.5 million from Matrix Partners India and Sequoia India in its seed round of funding.

3rdFlix: Education technology startup 3rdFlix Visual Effects has raised $5 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Exfinity Venture Partners. YourNest Venture Capital and IDFC Parampara Fund, among others, also participated.

Atomberg Technologies: Household electrical appliance manufacturer Atomberg Technologies has announced raising $10 million in Series A round which was led by IFC backed venture capital firm A91 Partners.

Myelin Foundry: Deep technology startup Myelin Foundry has raised a seed round of $1 million led by Endiya Partners.

Vyapar: Accounting startup Vyapar has raised series A $4.97 million funding round led by online B2B marketplace IndiaMART for a minority stake. Existing investors India Quotient and Axilor Ventures also participated.

Suzette Gourmet: Organic food brand Suzette Gourmet has raised $1.4 million in a funding round led by Yuj Ventures. Existing investor DSG Consumer Partners also participated in the round.

75F: Bengaluru-based smart building solution provider 75F has raised $18 million in Series A funding round.

Undisclosed deals this week

Neobanking startup Yelo and healthtech startup ProPhysio did not disclose their financial details on funding.
