This week 11 Indian startups received funding, of which 9 received a total sum of about $60 million. Among them, Meesho raised the highest funding

This week 11 Indian startups received funding, of which 9 received a total sum of about $60 million. Among them, Meesho raised the highest funding of about $25 million followed by OkCredit which raised about $15.5 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 2 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

Meesho: Social media giant Facebook has invested $25 million in social commerce platform Meesho.

Jumbotail: Online wholesale marketplace for food and groceries, Jumbotail has raised $13 million in its Series B round led by Heron Rock. The round also saw participation from Capria Fund, BNK Ventures and William Jarvis and existing investors – Nexus Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital.

Kredily: HR tech startup Kredily has picked up $0.75 million in its seed funding round led by Fosun RZ Capital. Other investors include Delhivery co-founder Mohit Tandon and former Zenefits VP Engineering Avinash Anand.

Yellow Messenger: Bengaluru-based conversational artificial intelligence startup Yellow Messenger has raised $4 million in its Series A funding round from Lightspeed Venture Partners and other prominent angel investors.

GroMo: Gurugram-based fintech startup GroMo has raised $0.57 million in seed funding round led by Livspace cofounder, Ramakant Sharma along with other angel investors.

OkCredit: Tiger Global has led $15.5 million Series A round in OkCredit, a mobile application that simplifies credit account management for shop owners and their customers. Morningside Venture Capital, Lightspeed India Partners, Venture Highway and Y Combinator also participated in it.

Vowelor: Community-based platform for readers and authors Vowelor has raised $0.14 million in a seed funding round led by angel investor Sanjeev Juneja.

Bolo: Video-based knowledge-sharing platform Bolo that allows users to ask queries in Hindi, has raised $0.43 million in seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. Unacademy founders Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini and Hemesh Singh, Growth Story founders Ganesh Krishnan and Srinivas Anumolu and Newsdog founder Chen Yukun also participated in the round.

COGOS: Bengaluru-based tech-driven intra-city logistics aggregator COGOS has raised $1 million in pre-Series A funding round led by IAN investor Niraj Saran.

Undisclosed deals this week

Industrial automation startup Autosys and yoga wellness startup SARVA did not disclose their financial details on funding.
