This week 18 Indian startups received funding, of which 15 received a total sum of about $164 million. Among them, Biz2Credit raised the highest funding

This week 18 Indian startups received funding, of which 15 received a total sum of about $164 million. Among them, Biz2Credit raised the highest funding of about $52 million followed by NoBroker which raised about $51 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 3 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Below is the summary of deals closed this week:

Pratilipi: Self-publishing platform Pratilipi has picked up a $15 million investment round led by Qiming Venture Partners, a VC based out of China.

Cityfurnish: Online furniture and consumer appliances rental startup Cityfurnish has raised $5 million in its Series A round from investors including Paul Buchheit, founder of Gmail, Steve Chen, co-founder of YouTube, Venture Highway, Soma Capital, and others.

Vogo: Scooter rental app Vogo has raised $3.57 million in debt round from Alteria Capital. In October 2018, Alteria had put in Rs 8 crore during the second close of its maiden fund - Alteria Capital India Fund I.

Chakr Innovation: Pollution control device maker Chakr Innovation has raised $2.7 million in a fresh round led by IAN Fund. Jyoti Sagar and IDFC Parampara fund also participated in it.

NoBroker: Realty tech startup NoBroker has raised a $51 million (Rs 351.04 crore) Series C round led by General Atlantic (GA). Rocketship.vc and existing investors who participated in the round include BEENEXT Ventures and SAIF Partners.

Dockabl: SaaS-based performance management platform Dockabl has raised $1.26 million in its pre Series A round from investors including Aditya Berlia (Apeejay Group of Companies), Ritesh Malik (Guerrilla Ventures), Sanjay Kapoor, Angad Singh Malhotra, and Arun Kapur.

Tork motors: Bharat Forge has made an additional investment of $0.57 million in electric two-wheeler startup Tork motors. This is the third tranche of a total commitment of about Rs 30 crore from Bharat Forge.

mCaffeine: Personal care brand mCaffeine has picked up $2 million from RPSG Ventures along with other undisclosed investors. RPSG is backed by RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group.

Milkbasket: Milk and grocery delivery startup Milkbasket has raised $10.5 million fresh fund infusion from existing backers – Unilever, Mayfield Partners, Kalaari Capital and Blume Ventures including several family offices.

FabHotels: Budget hotel chain FabHotels has raised $7.7 million from existing investors Goldman Sachs, Accel Partners and Qualcomm.

Avail Finance: Digital lending startup Avail Finance has raised $9 million from existing investor Matrix Partners India.

Pristyn Care: Healthcare startup Pristyn Care has raised $4 million in Series A funding round led by Sequoia India. It will use the funds to improve its medical capabilities, invest in technology and hiring medical professionals.

Biz2Credit: Online lending platform Biz2Credit has raised $52 million in a Series B funding round led by private equity firm WestBridge Capital.

Jadooz: Mini cinema chain Jadooz has raised $0.27 million in seed funding led by Artha Venture Fund.

Undisclosed deals this week

LetzConnect, Floap and Nurturing Green did not disclose their financial details on funding.
