Funding in Indian startups this week (07 Jan-12 Jan)

This week 14 Indian startups received funding, of which 11 received a total sum of about $234 million. Among them, Ola raised the highest funding of about $74 million followed by Vantage Health, which raised $50 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 3 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Grexter: Bengaluru-based co-living startup Grexter has raised $1.5 million in pre-Series A round led by integrated incubator and angel network Venture Catalysts.

Scripbox: Online mutual fund investment platform Scripbox has raised $21 million Series C round led by existing investor Accel Partners.

Faasos: Internet kitchen brand Faasos has received $4.2 million debt fund from Alteria Capital through secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures.

Eruditus: Mumbai-based edtech startup Eruditus that offers executive education programmes, has raised $40 million in Series C round led by Sequoia Capital.

Ola: Homegrown ride-hailing company Ola has raised $73.97 million in a fresh round led by existing investor Steadview Capital.

Vantage Health: Healthtech startup Vantage Health has raised $50 million in its first fundraising round led by Cayman Islands-based fund IQGEN Holdings LLC.

Innerchef: Cloud kitchen platform Innerchef has raked in $6.5 million in pre-Series B round led by Taizo Son’s Mistletoe Inc, Das Capital, Saha Capital, M&S Partners, and Brand Capital.

Flipspaces: Virtual Reality- enabled interior design and build brand – Flipspaces has raised $3.5 million risk capital from Carpediem Capital.

ZoloStays: Bengaluru-based co-living and home rental startup ZoloStays has raised $30 million in its Series B round led by existing investors Nexus Venture Partners and IDFC Alternatives.

Digiperform: Delhi-based edtech startup Digiperform which offers courses on digital marketing through centres, has raised $3.6 million from HT Media.

In-Med: Pune-based startup, In-Med Prognostics has received a Biotechnology Ignition Grant of $0.07 million from the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).

Undisclosed deals this week

Digital credit solutions provider ePayLater, women’s workwear brand Ombre Lane , fintech startup Cashcow did not disclose their financial details on funding.
