This week 21 Indian startups received funding, of which 17 received a total sum of about $135 million. Among them, Epigamia raised the highest funding of about $25.5 million followed by Turtlemint, which raised $25 million.

Meanwhile, funding for 4 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

LoanTap: Digital lending platform for salaried professional--LoanTap--has raised $8 million in a mix equity and debt round led by early-stage venture capital 3one4 Capital.

Shuttl: Gurugram-based bus aggregator Shuttl has raised another $1.4 million in debt from Venture debt firm Trifecta Capital.

ITILITE: SaaS-based travel management startup ITILITE has raised $4.2 million in its Series-A funding round led by Matrix Partners and others. A clutch of angel investors including Ashish Gupta, founder of Helion VC fund also participated in the round.

Turtlemint: Online insurance marketplace Turtlemint has raised $25 million in its Series B round led by Sequoia India. Existing investors Blume Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners also participated in the Mumbai-based startup’s latest funding round.

Crofarm: Farm to retail agritech startup Crofarm has raised $0.5 million from a clutch of HNIs including Vinay Mittal, former Chief of Strategy at HT Media, Ramit Sethi from Strongbox Ventures and other HNIs, said two sources aware with the transaction.

Instamojo: P2P platform for on-demand payment and lending for small businesses--Instamojo--has raised about $7.75 million in its Series B funding round led by Japan’s payments firm Anypay.

Vogo: Amidst $100 million commitment from cab-hailing giant Ola, scooter sharing platform Vogo has raised about $8.95 million in a fresh round led by Kalaari Capital.

Leverage Edu: Leverage Edu, a marketplace designed to help students with their higher education and career growth plans, has raised $1.3 million in its pre-series A round of funding led by DSG Consumer Partners and Blume Ventures.

Ola: Sachin Bansal, the co-founder of Flipkart, has invested $21 million in homegrown ride-hailing major Ola. This investment is a part of an ongoing Series J round.

Paisadukan: P2P lending startup Paisadukan has raised $0.2 million in a seed funding round. This is the first capital infusion for the Mumbai-based startup after receiving NBFC licence from RBI and overall third seed funding round since its inception.

Dailyhunt: Bengaluru-based news aggregator Dailyhunt has raised $3.5 million as part of its Series E funding round from Omidyar Network, Sequoia Capital and others.

CometChat: Mumbai based CpaaS (communication platform as a service) startup has raised $0.12 million in seed round from Techstars Boulder, a US-based seed accelerator.

Arata Zero Chemicals: New-Delhi based personal care brand Arata Zero Chemicals has raised seed capital of $0.5 million led by early-stage venture capital firm DSG Consumer Partners, AngelList India, and Dr Rajan Raghavachari.

Epigamia: Mumbai-based FMCG products company Epigamia has raised $25.5 million in a Series C round of funding led by Verlinvest and Danone Manifesto Ventures.

WayCool: Chennai-based fresh produce distribution startup WayCool has raised $17 million in equity and debt round led by LGT Impact.

IndigoLearn: Hyderabad-based edtech startup IndigoLearn has raised $0.13 million in a follow-on round from angel investors based out of India and the United States.

Aye Finance: Fintech lender Aye Finance has raised $10 million in debt funding from leading global impact investment manager, responsAbility and Northern Arc.

Undisclosed deals this week

Digital lending marketplace ZestMoney, Fashion e-commerce enabler Zoomtail, concierge service provider 27 Mantraa and online procurement platform for restaurants Adurcup did not disclose their financial details on funding.
