Funding in Indian startups this week (01 Oct- 06 Oct)

This week 12 Indian startups received funding, of which 11 received a total sum of about $139 million. Among them, Cardekho raised the highest investment of $75 million followed by Droom, which raised $30 million.

Meanwhile, funding for one of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Droom: Online automobile marketplace Droom has raised $30 million in Series E round led by the family office of Japan-based investor, Joe Hirao.

Vogo: Venture debt firm Alteria Capital has invested $1.09 million in scooter rental platform.

9Stacks: Online poker platform 9Stacks has raised $3.84 million in a Series A funding round led by WaterBridge Ventures and participated by its existing investors.

Vahdam Teas: Premium tea e-tailer Vahdam Teas has raised $2.5 million from existing investors Fireside Ventures in its third institutional round of funding.

Cardekho: Online car classifieds Cardekho has made a tentative closure of $75 million in the latest mega round from new as well as existing investors. The round is still open and it may raise $100 million more.

Disprz: Venture debt firm InnoVen Capital has invested $0.4 million in Disprz, a SaaS-based mobile learning & engagement solution for enterprise knowledge workers and frontline distributed workforce.

GoBOLT: Logistics startup GoBOLT has secured funding of $5.4 million from Aavishkaar-Intellecap Group’s Aavishkaar Bharat Fund.

Origo Commodities: It has raised about $11 million from impact investors Oikocredit, Caspian SME Impact Fund IV, and Triodos Investment Management through its Hivos-Triodos Fund.

InnerChef: Cloud kitchen startup InnerChef has raised around $1.76 million in a fresh funding round from new and existing investors.

Bnext: Mumbai-based enterprise software-as-a-service startup Bnext has raised $0.3 million from undisclosed angel investors.

ElasticRun: Pune-based logistics startup ElasticRun has raised around $8 million in a fresh funding round co-led by Norwest Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital.

Undisclosed deals this week

Health-snack startup Snackibl did not disclose its financial details on funding.
