Funding in Indian startups this week (27 Aug-01 Sep)

This week 12 startups received funding of about $78 million. Among them, NetMeds raised the highest investment of $35 million, followed by Servify which raised about $15 million.

Playtoome: Live entertainment platform Playtoome has raised $0.28 million in its pre-Series A round from integrated incubator Venture Catalysts’ angel investor.

Servify: Personal device management and after-sale services for electronic gadgets, Servify has raised $15 million in its Series B funding round led by Iron Pillar. Existing investors Blume Ventures and Beenext also participated in the round.

MyUpchar: Local language health content app MyUpchar has raised $5 million in Series A funding from Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network, and Shunwei Capital.

MissMalini: Lifestyle and entertainment platform MissMalini has raised $1.4 million from Orios Venture Partners and New Enterprise Associates in its pre-series A round.

Rooter: Live-sports social engagement platform Rooter has raised $0.6 million in its pre-Series A round from a clutch of investors including Khalid Al Tawil, Anjali Malhotra from Aviva, Pranay Nigotiya, and others of integrated incubator platform Venture Catalysts.

ZestMoney: Digital lending platform ZestMoney has raised $13.4 million in a round led by Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi.

Shubh Loans: Blue-collar focused digital lending platform Shubh Loans has raised $4.2 million in an investment led by venture capital firm Saama Capital.

Droni Tech: Mumbai-based AI startup Droni Tech has raised $0.5 million seed funding from Eagle Group.

WheelsEye: Logistics startup WheelsEye has raised around $1 million from early-stage venture capital firm Prime Venture Partners.

NetMeds: Online pharmacy NetMeds has raised $35 million from Southeast Asian business group Daun Penh Cambodia Group.

ShipX: Logistics solution provider Mahindra Logistics Ltd has invested $1 million in freight management solution startup ShipX.

3hcare.in: Online healthcare portal 3hcare.in has raised $1 million in the second round of funding from unknown investors.
