Funding in Indian startups this week (20 Aug-25 Aug)

This week only 16 startups received funding, of which eight received a total sum of about $31 million. Among them, car rental platform Revv raised the highest investment of $14.3 million, followed by Cygni Energy which raised about $6.4 million.

Meanwhile, funding for eight of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.

Imarticus Learning: Edtech startup Imarticus Learning has raised $2 million in a Series B funding round from venture capital fund CBA Capital.

Revv: India’s second largest car seller Hyundai has led $14.3 million Series B round in Gurugram-based car rental startup Revv.

Sensibull: Online stock brokerage firm Zerodha has invested $0.35 million as seed fund in Sensibull, a startup working in the options trading business.

Wholesalebox: B2B wholesale e-commerce marketplace platform Wholesalebox has raised $2.1 million across two rounds led by Orios Venture Partners with the participation of other investors including Contrarian Drishti Partners and Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF).

Raw Pressery: Organic cold-pressed juices and healthy drinks sold brand Raw Pressery, has raised $4.8 million from Alteria Capital.

Finzy: Online peer to peer lending startup Finzy has raised $1 million in funding from undisclosed investors.

Cygni Energy: Solar startup Cygni Energy has raised $6.4 million through a combination of equity and debt led by Endiya Partners, and IndusInd Bank.

MedCords: Info Edge has invested $0.37 million in healthtech startup MedCords.

Undisclosed deals this week

Re-commerce platform InstaCash, Food Startup Sattviko, men’s grooming startup Bombay Shaving Company, student housing marketplace University Living, workplace discussion platform Hush, travel startup for women WoVoyage, AR/VR startup HoloSuit and fintech platform Kaleidofin did not disclose their financial details.
