Virtual reality startup SmartVizX has raised Rs 10 crore in pre-series A funding from YourNest Venture Capital and the Indian Angel Network’s IAN fund. The company also announced the launch of Trezi, which it claims as India’s first VR-based platform for architecture and interior design collaboration.
The Delhi NCR-based startup will use the fresh capital to scale up its product team and for overseas expansion. Founded by Gautam Tewari and Tithi Tewari, previously, the startup had raised angel funding of $0.5 million from IAN in 2016.
SmartVizX started operations in 2015 providing virtualisation as a service to customers. It provides a wide-range of immersive and interactive VR solutions for the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Besides, it has also developed solutions for insurance companies.

The company's flagship product improves the understanding, communication, and translation of interior design for all stakeholders in the design process, resulting in reduced errors and omissions, time spent re-visiting decisions, and material wastage.
